I really enjoy this series, but I thought this one ended in an awkward way, as if the author was only halfway through the story, but realized he’d met his contractual word count so he tried to “end” it cliffhanger style.
I get that I’ve been spoiled by Sanderson, but I haven’t begrudged the relatively short listening experiences in this series their brevity when the books had more satisfying and natural endpoints.
