Even the most dysfunctional societies have rules and means by which they operate. This book takes the powerful play upon the weak too far. It breaks down and creates a broken system. The narrator explains that this leads to cultivators growing strong and then overthrowing the system. We now see that these are clearly a result of revenge porn. At first, you think this is simply an additional form of trial and challenge. Nope. This is simply laziness and poor concept. In this society there would be a massive number of revenge killings and power transitions. Even the weak can learn to overthrow those they hate. (Not to mention the internal power struggles that would create support systems for the overthrow of rivals.).

Disappointing based on his other excellent work.
