I hate to start this way but my honest thoughts I was just expecting something fun but nothing really other then that. Well being I am giving this 5 monkeys and not as a fun easy read is saying something. MK Gibson is owed a big round of applause for his characters and the introduction into Jackson Blackwell, The Shadowmaster. After the first page I was already in Lust (we all know Jackson doesn’t do love) with this book. He is an egomaniac and thinks he is above everyone. Heck how else would be "They Villian" and actually advised villains from other realms. Normally that would be a turn off but the internal dialogue as well as his interactions with all the people around makes him own the title. This is forth wall breaking at its greatest.
