I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author / narrator / publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.

This book isn’t quite what I had expected. By reading the synopsis, I was thinking there will be some family drama at the beginning but once the nukes fall, it will turn into a gritty post-nuclear survival story. That’s not how it turned out actually. Sure, there are families scattered across the nation, fighting to survive in the ruined country and escaping radiation etc. But the book focuses more on the "feelings" of the characters. It’s more about how families behave during a crisis. If that’s not what you are here for, this book isn’t for you.

The narration was tad disappointing. Most of the characters sounded the same and there was no infliction. Kinda put me off.
