Huge fan of the rest of the series. Avatar of flame was a bit weak, slow, and redundant. This is much worse.
I’m five hours in and the story has barely progressed 20 minutes. Mostly filled with superfluous and cheesy dialogue like I’m listening to a sitcom. There is no real substance to the character interactions, they are just asking inane questions, taking surface digs at each other, answering with more inanity, followed up by a lame joke, and 10 minutes later you actually get to move forward a step.
Don’t plan on finishing or moving forward with the series which is a bummer cuz I’ve gone through every one pretty happily.
