Where do I even begin? I fell ear first into this book and couldn’t pull myself away unless I absolutely had to. I loved our characters and what they brought to the story. I really enjoyed getting to know each of our main characters because they had so much pride, and love towards each other.
Honor and your word is the first and foremost in any Mafia. If you don’t have them you won’t go anywhere. Except for 6 feet below. These men had it in spades. They were willing to do whatever it took to make sure that Rosa was happy. Even if there were some growing pains along the way.
Rosa was such a strong woman who knew what she had to do but also what she wanted in life. She was more than willing to stand up for her wants and beliefs. And I loved her for it!! I would have loved to see a little bit more of her background, but we got a good snapshot of it.
The voice actors were great, despite the female struggling to stay in a Hispanic accent rather than an Irish one. She went back and forth and I feel like it kind of took away from Rosas heritage.
