I really did like this book overall very very much, however there are definitely some things that seem not in keeping with the main character is.. for instance when they decide to go get Rev’s daughter.
that just doesn’t match with all the other things that they were so strict on !!
Who in their right mind in those circumstances, knowing how horrible the virus was with go to California and risk getting exposed not only to the virus themselves but exposing themselves to other marauders and looters etc.
Then when they get there they find out that the daughter’s partner had died from the disease well hello is highly contagious !!!
To me it seem like I made a lot of smart moves in a very dumb one and that was a huge sticking point for me …
Again overall a very good book very realistic and scary at the same time
