I am at a loss for words, there is nothing that I could say that would (or could) express the emotions felt throughout, the realism of the events, factual insights into human characteristics, and key events of life. The feelings put into this story were filled with real-life circumstances, bringing the strength of the writer to the surface.
This has to be the greatest writer/narrator combination I have come across. David more than brought Rick’s characters more life, the fashion in which these characters’ inner thoughts were echoed, is exactly how I hear myself think. One of the most unprecedented extras of an already outstanding storyline.
The plot was exceptionally rare, heartfelt, and unrestrained. It was realistic, the characters unique, and the secrets kept were impacting. And honestly, Jasper is years beyond his age, matching perfectly with Rob, despite their age difference. A stunning novelty from beginning to end, leaving the listener complete and satisfied with how the story ended.
