Over the past year and a half, my fiancé has been desperately trying to get me to listen to this series. I have to admit I wasn’t very fond of the way that my fiancé explain the story, and I didn’t think that I would like it.
As I started to listen to the series, I immediately fell in love with it, the magic sentient AI is such a cool feature. I feel as though I can see it moving throughout my brain as the author explains in vivid detail everything that’s happening.
The relationship between Carl and Princess Doughnut has me at the edge of my seat. Kind of sad that Doughnut didn’t change her race at all and I am hoping that at some point they’re able to change their race again. I have to admit I know something about Bee that I probably shouldn’t know at the second book but fuck that bitch.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has a obsession with dungeon crawls and sci-fi alien characters.
