When I picked up the free one-shot Charm School Outcast, I never expected to care about this series. I was just listening to a free audiobook while working out… but I’m gonna see it through. some of the characters are repetitive, but I have definitely grown to care for Charm, Laurel, Harp and Agris. I kind of wish the cast wasn’t so large so that the characters could get more depth, but at this point, it’s not about the story, it’s about the space opera and the relationships.
go for it, you will be entertained, and check the rest of it out. Jamie Hawke is either a genius or a complete loon, but I’m here for it.
