Unfortunately, this was just an OK listen, to me. The H and h changed from Enemies to in love, unbelievably fast; for these two emotional damaged people.
There were also too many ugly characters and only one likable supporting character.
In addition, the “Hero”( who was supposed to be cynical and untrusting) was entirely too blind and gullible.
The plot was also a bit flat. I was never pulled into the story; never felt anxious, sad or anything else.
If I had to give this duet a letter grade, in would have been a C-. Not sure this listen was worth the two credits it cost. However, if you’re struggling to find anything worthwhile and this duet is on sale, then it’s better than nothing.
