This particular entry had some interesting ideas, but I was a little upset from the start because it mentions the characters that each guest voice actor portrays. Revealing that kind of info is a personal pet peeve. I don’t want to know anything about the book prior to reading/listening.
Beyond that, this story seemed a bit too much of the same as previous entries. I don’t have the answer/cure for that but I hope the author does. I think some of the backstory could have been more impactful; in fact the book in general lacked impact despite the gravity of the situation emotionally and politically. At times the scenes between Donut and Carl felt less genuine and organic than we had seen previously.
Unpopular opinion: Best and most exciting part for me was in the epilogue.
Also, I should mention that the voice actor has done a stellar job with this series!
