So there are some faults. I wish we had heard more of their relationship when they fell in love, and then it would have been more believable when Wilder forgave him. The sex while steamy was very lumped together and a bit overwhelming, would have preferred more relationship building there. But, I fell for both characters. And growing up in a small southern town and in church, I related to Jax’s angst about coming out. And I really liked a lot of the side characters, including Jax’s brother. I’m not going to lie… I teared up more than once, but it was more about the coming out experience than anything. That, to me, is where this book shined.
