Nothing to see here. How does a state-of-the-art hospital continue to function for two weeks or more after a national EMP attack… without power, air conditioning and heat, water, security?? The premise for this story is unfounded. I was looking for something from which I could glean a some additional perspective on the possible repercussions of a national grid failure, but that was not this book. Try “One Second After” and “One Year After” for more feasible survival strategy. Judging by the positive reviews the author has a largely female fan-club.
