The first few chapters (slides) were really confusing to follow, even for the LitRPG genre. Before long, though, things came together to become very enjoyable. The best part is Romanov’s clear understanding of medieval martial arts. He shows an expertise around weapons and armor that demonstrates someone has spent a long time in the gym with modern practitioners of the fighting styles. That dose of realism works well in this story world the author has created.

I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is a fan of LitRPG.
