I didn’t think Matt could top his previous books but this one absolutely blew me away.
Equal parts action, world expansion and character building .. this book had it all!
Sure the book is nearly 30 hours long but it felt more like a third of that. I was so engaged with this story, there were times it literally brought me to tears (both happy and sad).
NGL, Matt really knows how to bring out those emotions in his readers. I don’t think I have EVER been so stoked for the next book in a series as I am with the upcoming faction wars – it’ll be a very hard wait, I may have to resort to finally taking advantage of my patreon and reading ahead as he writes the next book!!!
SBT and Jeff knocked this out of the park. the guest appearances from Travis and Patrick was such a surprise. Travis playing Raoul was absolutely perfect and getting to hear Patrick as Carl’s dad was so perfect I.. I didn’t realize it was something I needed until I heard it.
While I’m waiting for the next book, I’ll have to pick up some Donut Hole merch XD.
seriously, well done, all of you. This series has and always will be my favorite series of this genre, if not of all time. Get ready Crawlers, the next floor is waiting, the lines have been drawn, now get out there and Kill KILL KILL!
