How does the author do it? This series started out great, and has consistently delivered on crazier and more layered shenanigans as the entries go. The Butcher’s Masquerade was my favorite by far before reading this, but now I’m thinking this entry is tied just in terms of the sheer enjoyment.
Characters interact and grow in really interesting, funny and deep ways. And some plot threads and mysteries are wrapped up while others are setup or changed in order to maximize my hype and theorizing for the next installments.
