The series is great, and these shorts add context to the backgrounds of several events and people in the books. It’s been a while since I read the series though so this didn’t really feel like anything monumentally new bring added to the series, more like when you watch the deleted scenes reel at the end of a dvd. If the books are fresh in your mind, you may get a bit more out of these shorts. The narration is good as with the other books
