This is my third listen to the series, and it gets better each time. The writing is outstanding, well thought out, and a great blend of graphic violence and belly laughs. Just when you think it can’t get more f’d up… surprise, your imagination is a kindergarten child’s compared to Matt’s devilishly dark sense of humor.
Jeff Hays has ruined my ability to listen to audiobooks he doesn’t narrate. I honestly thought this was a full cast production read, and was dumbfounded to learn he does all the voices…on the fly…as he reads. OMG!!!!
Everyone I’ve recommended this series too, and I mean EVERYONE, has been blown away. I feel a cult classic has been born and no film adaptation will be able to do it justice.
