I wasn’t expecting perfection but this it utter tripe. The main character is not only unlikable but completely cognizant of that fact and instead of doing something logical about it he blames society for his issues. He cannot fathom putting in real work so he takes the easy way and it works out for him.
Full disclosure: I couldn’t finish this pitiful excuse for a audiobook and I’m shocked there are sequels to it.
