I listened to this book almost all of the way through without pause. The author did a very good job of telling the story from the view point of the person singular. His use of verbs was excellent, in that, he created a fast pace, action packed story interlaced with moment of struggle and suspense. Excellent job writing the book.
The narrator also did a great job bring the story to life. His pace quicken and slowed at the appropriate times. Thus he converted the written word into action. Some people who reviewed the Audio Edition criticized the narrator’s ability to quickly change from the male to female characters. I don’t agree with their criticism and almost didn’t buy the book because of their criticism. I am glad I bought it; otherwise, I would have missed a fun book.
