The narration was good. I enjoyed Grandma. looked forward to her letters and the treasure hunts.
As others have said, this seems to be written at a 5th grade level. The characters are boring, and predictable.
The sex scenes sound like they are written by a horny 17 year old. The author should take some lessons from Diana Gabaldon.
I’m in the middle of book 3 and struggling to finish it.
Save your credit, or better yet listen to One Second After by William Forstechen. A much better story.
