DNF at this moment in time. I’m just not feeling it and this book is too long to have to wait for the moment that I “want” to keep going. This whole set up, the world that it is set in feels extremely young to me. The characters, at least so far in the first 35%, are just not likeable enough for me to want to care about them. Especially the female MC, so far she is more annoying than likeable.
I’ve glanced at reviews and they seem to say that it is fairly slow until around the 45% mark. There are 700+ pages! That means I have to read over 300 pages before it gets good? Really?
I haven’t even met the other male MC and I’m well over 1/3 into the book.
As I said before- it’s just not working for me at this particular moment in time. Maybe another time.
