Humans are believed extinct, in fact they very nearly are! Then Ty Bearclaw, a grizzly shifter meets Ella a human and everything changes.
For humans time has stood still for centuries as their clans got smaller and they moved deeper into the wilds of the planet to avoid being discovered by the shifters. Ella’s clan is very small about 20 including the old and the children.
Ty is rich an powerful and like all shifters has been taught that humans are extinct, when he meets one and she turns out to be his mate so begins a really well written story. This is a world where not all shifters are forward thinking and happy to find a living human. A world where prejudice and greed is very much in evidence. A world where humans want to kill first to stay alive and siding with a shifter can bring death to a human.
But it’s also a wonderful love story for Ella and Ty, his family and close friends do all they can to ensure Ella’s happiness and safety. I couldn’t stop listening.
I can’t wait to read/listen to the next book in this series.
