Wow, for a human, Piper has to be either the most unluckiest human (sorry, haemon) out there. She’s always getting herself into trouble & she really should learn how to bargain better. This story was so packed with action, that I had to listen to the whole book in one sitting. However, there were moments where the sound quality changed, making the narrator sound slightly different. It wasn’t bad, just sounded louder for a moment. Not sure if it was my ear pieces or the audiobook causing the problem though. Either way, it was a little distracting.
I still love Lyre’s determination & Ash’s stoic demeanor… Pipers definitely has her hands full! I can’t wait to see what happens next for all of them. I like all the characters, even the ones who you really want to hate. ;D I loved how things unfolded this time & how Piper is starting to realize just how strong of a person she really is. Like most young adults her age, she does things that a really frustratingly aggravating, but she’s still learning things about herself, both physically & mentally. And weren’t we all Ike that in one way or another when we were her age? 😉
