The biggest problem I have with romance stories is the cliche expert-super professional that ignores all the best advice to make bad decisions putting others in harms way just for “the one”. It takes away from any character or plot development. The extra romance made most of the characters extreme and one dimensional by the end. Like not every single person on the “good guys” can be the best in the world.
The day dreaming interludes might be appreciated by some, but I thought just stalled any plot lines.
