Oh man, this was so good!
I love D&D, Sci-Fi, and anime where the protagonist gets shoved into a fantasy world. This checks a lot of boxes for me flavor wise, but it also has good pacing, action, character development, and world building.
The narrator sounds a lot like Patrick Warburton for the tick fans out there.
