Alex Hart loves horses. Being a widow and with a son serving overseas, she relocates her horse rescue business to Libby with her friend Lucy. Her goal is to rescue injured and abused horses and any other farm animal in need. Jonas and Alex meet when she spots an injured horse that just happens to be Jonas’ and convinces him she can treat his horses injuries. This is where their story begins.
With two prison escapees on the loose in the area and shots being heard, Jonas and his teammates are hired to track the escapees. As the situations gets to close to home, Jonas realizes Alex just may be in their sights and he and his teammates will do everything they can to protect the woman Jonas is falling in love with.
