Cruel Lies is a dark new adult college romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Alexander Neal and Sarah Puckett. This is the first book in the Cruel Secrets Duet.
This is the first book of Faith’s that I have read, and it won’t be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. The relationship between Caspian and Willow is messy but I can’t help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can’t wait for the next book Cruel Promises to be released on audio so I can get the rest of their story.
Alexander and Sarah did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, secret society romances, college romances, bully romances, or romantic suspense.
