Clichéd Boot Camp story. Characters die in expected order of importance. Enemies swarm until our hero has to fight them. Then they circle and attack one at a time like a SyFy series shot in Vancouver.

Based on enemy killed versus shots fired, it takes 32,000 bullets to kill one enemy. Or one blast of a shiny phaser pistol which only the officers have, you know, because they don’t fight. An insulting plot artifice.

Overall, extremely average with zero surprises. Written by someone writing about TV shows and movies he’s seen which were written by writers writing about TV shows and movies they had seen which were written by writers writing about TV shows and movies they had seen.
