Retelling of fairytales in a contemporary story is so much fun. This time, Jamie Brook Thompson puts Felix Frogg front and center. In demand by the ladies in town, Felix is a quiet man, and isn’t looking for meaningless dates. Then Taya comes to town to help out Henry in the bakery and everything changes. The men in this town fall quick, and fall hard and Felix does his best to get Taya on the same page. But will her past come back to split them up? This is a quick, fun listen with a new twist on an old story. I love that the characters from the other two retellings are incorporated into the book, giving a flow to the story that makes the reader feel comfortable and at home.

Angie Hickman gives an easy to listen to rendition of the book. She has very good accents and gives each character a distinctive voice. I really enjoyed her performance.
