For me, this was an "out-of-left-field" delight! I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did, or to care for the characters as I had. The main character continues to stay true to who he is, despite who he’s becoming, and how the women around him start to affect his sense of self. Yes, there is a harem aspect to the book, and yes, he does become an interest to the women around him, but in a tasteful way. I do hope there is another book in the series to come out soon, as I look forward to reading more about these characters and see how the develop together. bottom line, worth the listen. a great take on villainy vs super-heroism and perspective.
