The MC is starts out as a realist who does what he needs too. Including killing people who would cause atrocities. Toward the end, VERY weak reasons are given for abandoning for a specific character who is the worst. Most of the reasons would have been valid from the start and he pushes it to a stupid level. it took ALOT from the character. He became flaky and undepandable as an MC. which was frustrating given his likeable he had been.
