This was another fun and quick read. This one centers around a dad (and new vampire) trying to protect his son from a scary vampire sect that wants to take him and experiment on him. He’s a single dad struggling with his young son’s uncontrolled abilities. This one has the light thriller side and a mystery around a ghost who was murder and trying to help her find peace. Overall, a fun book with a bit more steam due to the vampire thread but still clean.
The narrator did a good job with the character differentiations and acting. I did prefer listening at 1.35x speed.
