The voice acting was amazing. I came across this book after Jeff recommended it during his lifestream reading DCC. I love the premise and outline of the story the beginning chapter was great, opening us up to the world, and how the magic is used within combat. After he goes back in time, I start to lose a little interest because it does follow a mild trope of young guy saves the world. But there is the twist because technically he has the memories of the older men. The whole school thing part was kind of boring, but it does end well enough that I want more.
