Good thing I got the series at once on sale, else I would have stopped at novella 1, which was overboard with her as a mere thing to be owned. This novella continues with the doms-in-space vibe, but does a much better job of adding story, romance, and justification into the mix.

We learn about the Tedolerans as instinctive alphas and about how humans in space are omegas who cause all sorts of aliens to sex-frenzy when humans go into heat. Is the alpha/omega dynamic part of Earth-style dom culture? Because it feels like this series is just Earth-style whips and spanks + alien-style baby mating. Not really my kink, but the narration and the dirty dom deeds were delicious.
This installment also added a bit of humor and a clearly smitten Brackon to give Noemi both the carrot and the stick pleasures. Ended up being a naughty little nugget. Each novella introduces the Tedoleran who stars in the next novella, but I don’t think you’ll miss a thing taking these out of order.
