Great listen, as always, but that cliffhanger is borderline cruel. Can’t wait for the next book, and both the performance and sound design are better than ever, but I’m honestly kind of pissed that the author did that to us. If this review is a factor in whether you purchase this or not, do it. I’m only angry because I wanted more before the credits.
That being said, the author might also need to talk to someone. Like a therapist. He knows why.
