I’ve only finished the first book so far, but I’m in love. It’s got a great balance of everything I like to see in litrpg; game elements, numbers go brrr, and great character interactions/development. The MC doesn’t get lost in figuring out how to make his his numbers bigger, there are still moments of meaningful character growth, reflection, and interaction. I personally find sound effects and musical accompaniment very distracting, but the little there is here is done very tastefully and in a way that avoids breaking my immersion. The narrating cast also does a great job of bringing this world to life.
