Big fan of Jeremy’s work. This one started out kind of slow for me if I’m honest. But the more I listened, the more it pulled me in. Some character choices were kind of frustrating, especially on Poe’s end but by the end of it I didn’t mind. This one got me emotionally at the very end, unexpectedly so. The ending to me had similar vibes as the movie Arrival. There’s just something heartbreaking and beautiful when characters make choices for those they love even though the outcome may not be the best. But they make those choices anyway because of what they know will be or has been. Needless to say the ending had me shedding man tears. Another quality book from Mr. Robinson and his wife.
