I was in a relationship at 14 I had no business in- and it wasn’t the large age gap here. While this story is wrapped up in a pretty bow- often times this is not the case. These young women become addicted to intimidating, violent men who hurt others then say “but i would never hurt YOU “(yet). If it walks like a duck… yada yada. If you’re reading this as a young person saying “I WANT THAT” please… don’t.
This book does a really good job highlighting how abused children are the most vulnerable. With no one looking out for them- someone eventually will.
