About a woman who rescues a chicken crossing a busy road and meets a guy. But by bringing home the chicken, she gets evicted. Thankfully, she finds a room to rent with a gruff exterior guy with a squishy-soft interior. Ohlert balances the push and pull of this budding friendship and seamlessly brings these two characters together, while sharing in the joys and challenges of caring for an injured pet chicken. Not only do you want the chicken to get to the other side, but you can’t help cheering for this lovely couple as well. Such a unique meet-cute!
