At 6 hours long the first book was completed in an afternoon. This is my one complaint. Other than that it’s a solid book and a good series. It’s not very inventive in the universe it creates but is well written and perfect quick entertainment. Ive listened to several in the series (which are a little bit longer at about 8 hours each) and have no doubt I’ll buy the whole series. This won’t knock your socks off but it’s solid sci-fi space war entertainment and well narrated.
