So much potential

This series has so much potential for a strong story, but the over-done lust/love scenes take me out of it. I end up skipping so much to get last the drivel.

This is a strong author, I’m the wrong genre.

The protagonist, Isaac, is so annoying. I don’t understand how a 2000+ year old vamp could fall for a 24 year old toddler who overreacts and panics every 5-minutes. This character never grew a backbone and continued to be weak throughout the story. I’m not sure if it was the writing or the voice actor, but Isaac was a whiny, wormy child throughout most of this novel.
