Like any Anthology, some stories grabbed me a bit more than others, but none of them remotely ever made me want to stop listening. I am constantly impressed by what can be squeezed into short stories. They are long enough to make you feel invested in the characters, then leave you wanting more right as it ends.
The longer novela’s are perfectly sandwiched in between some shorter stories, which really made the book flow.
As with the other books in Hayven Celestia, I am constantly impressed with Piers Ryman’s narration. He even pulled out some voices I haven’t heard in other books that had me thinking, “wait, is that still him?”
If you like sci-fi, furry or not, pick this up, you will not regret it.
