story is good, but pacing needs work

I enjoyed the listen and can’t complain much about the story itself, but some of the events that happen feel rushed and others are just left alone.

The last book at the very end hits a event I expected as soon as the new character was brought in, adoption. The pacing for how the MC gets to that point feels very rushed, and at the same time the relationship between MC and his significant other just kinda disappeared at the end. she isn’t even mentioned in the epilogue.

Overall, a good story, but the pacing could of used a second look for what would be major events in someone’s life
