I really don’t like writing poor reviews, but I’d like to give other potential readers a fair warning. The first book was not bad, great detail and the story line was plausible. Even the second book had enough realism and thrill to keep my interest peaked. By the 3rd and 4th books it’s like the bottom fell out from the plot. It was just short of miserable to witness the two main characters, Maddy age 18 and Zach age 15, lecture adults and take matters into their own hands. There was a lot of disjointed transitions and incredible amount of repetition. Is it possible for an 18 year old girl to be massoginistic? I stayed on until the end of book 4 because I’d already invested the time and money. I won’t be moving on to book 5 in the series. I love this genre and I am sad to say this ranks pretty low in the 300 hours plus that I’ve been listening to.
