Love this series; all the books have been great! I listened to all 5 books in a row. It’s been an adjustment at the beginning because the male lead in each one is Troy Duran. It’s multiple chapters before I can separate that voice from the last book.

This book was confusing at a few points too. talking about a situation like we read it, but we didn’t. I went back several times rereading chapters because I thought I missed chunks. Pretty sure it was intentional, which was annoying. It’s weird to add a new mechanism in book 5 for communicating something in their history.

I wish the sex scenes were longer. They’re missing some realism for me, but it is a work of fiction. Just don’t let it warp your perception of men in the real world. You could spend your whole life looking for a man and sex like this.
