An excellent start to an exciting eastern cultivation and coming of age series! Full of action, philosophy and feels, I highly recommend listening to this book.
The MC is 16 year old Lindon, who relies on wits to find and take advantage of all opportunities to advance in his path as a cultivator. His family motto; “Honor by any means” leaves quite a bit of wiggle room for using the skills most wouldn’t think proper… but the clans Ancestral beast IS a white fox. There will be much mischief and it’s been a delight to listen to.
Travis is an amazing narrator who truly brings the characters and story alive. On point pacing and tone of voice, it’s very easy to get lost in the story. The bloopers in the very end are also HILARIOUS!
