I found this book from a post by the author on Facebook saying it was on sale, and I’m always up for a sale… It’s definitely a departure from my usual reading, but it was refreshing and quite enjoyable.
There were a few times when it was a little bit tedious… But that’s only when reading certain stats For the cats… I’m sure in the book it’s not bad, but in the audiobook, I just fast forwarded for 30 seconds whenever they started, and I got past that easily. The story was easy to listen to, and on the lighter side, but still hit on some of the more emotionally difficult things people go through in life, with a few moments of suspense and action, nothing kids can’t handle.
Definitely want I’m going to pass on to my 10 year old son who loves audiobooks. I’m always looking for some things that he will enjoy and this will definitely be one of them.
