What a fun way for kids to learn about history, and they don’t even have to read! I am big on playing audibles in my car with the kids to connect with them and keep them off their phones. So we listened to this book when we had a quick road trip. Most kids do not take an interest in learning about history, but luckily, my kids have just enough interest to be willing to listen to it. We enjoyed listening to all the different stories, which sparked some interesting conversations.
The book is laid out in 3 different sections, and then chapters within each. The narrator did a great job of keeping us entertained and engaged. The author knew exactly what they were doing when they kept the stories short, sweet, and to the point.
Highly recommend it for anyone to listen to but great to listen to these types of books with your kids: education and family time.
